Juliette offers counselling via Telehealth appointments as well as in-person appointments. She is currently undertaking research for a PhD in ADHD Lived Experience. She is an ACA registered mental health therapist and holds both a Diploma and Masters in Counselling. She also holds Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education. She helps individuals, couples and families with a range of challenges such as -

ADHD.

School Refusal.

Bullying.

HSC & VCE Exam Prep.

Depression.

Anxiety.

Grief and Loss.

PTSD.

Trauma.

OCD.

BPD.

Domestic Violence.

Separation.

Divorce.

Some complex conditions (e.g. PTSD, BPD, OCD) may require referrals to psychiatrists, psychologists or other specialists. Where appropriate, we will discuss referrals to ensure your treatment is safe and aligned with best-practice guidelines.​

  • Juliette offers a range of therapeutic approaches to help clients with their unique lived experience of ADHD.

  • The ADHD Clinic is a Registered NDIS Provider and offers NDIS Mental Health Counselling.

  • School Related Counselling: Juliette also helps individuals aged between 12 and 25 with the challenges of navigating school and university. She can help with school refusal, anxiety, bullying, emotional dysregulation and failure to launch, which is common in individuals with ADHD.

  • Life and Career Management Counselling: Juliette helps people experiencing Burnout, Household Organisation, Parenting with ADHD and navigating a career with ADHD.

  • Advocacy: ​With over twenty years of experience in the field of education, Juliette advocates for her clients and their individual education needs.

Juliette Cavendish is the Director of The ADHD Clinic PTY LTD and Drummond Street Counselling.

She is a mental health therapist, registered with the Australian Counselling Association. Juliette is also an ADHD Coach.

Juliette is currently undertaking a PhD, investigating the lived experience of ADHD with the hope of developing a diagnostic tool that is closely aligned with real-lived experience so that better support can be available for people post-diagnosis.

Juliette holds the following qualifications:

ADHD & Coaching Certifications.

PhD in Metaphysics

She offers ADHD Coaching, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  ADHD Creative Therapy, Grief & Trauma Therapies and can work with individuals who are experiencing depression and anxiety. She also offers 'Creative Counselling'.

Please note that sessions cannot be claimed through Private Health Insurance; however, concession rates are available.
